POLICE are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision at Waterwells Business Park in Gloucester.
The collision at 6.10pm yesterday, Thursday, involved two vehicles, a Gilera moped being ridden by a 23-year-old man and a BMW being driven by a 29-year-old-man.
The rider of the moped, who is from Gloucester, sustained serious but not life threatening injuries and remains critical in Southmead Hospital in Bristol.
The driver of the BMW, believed to be from Bristol, was uninjured.
The road was closed while the collision was dealt with.
Police are specifically appealing for a woman to come forward, who is believed to be a nurse.
She stopped to assist at the scene offering first aid to the moped rider, and then left the scene without leaving her details.
Any other witnesses are also asked to contact Gloucestershire Police urgently on 101, quoting incident number 378 of 18 December.
