A GROUP of men knocked a 53-year-old man to the ground before continuing to kick and punch him until he was unconscious.
The assault happened at Sandford Park, Cheltenham, on Wednesday, August 26 between 7.45pm and 8.05pm.
The man sustained a cut to his head and underwent surgery for a broken jaw.
The offenders also stole a dark green flip wallet containing cash, bus and taxi cards, a Doro mobile phone with large buttons and spectacles with thin silver frames.
One of the offenders is white, with a bald head and wearing a leather jacket. Another offender is white with a tattoo of a crown spreading across his forehead.
Police would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have further information that can help with their enquiries. Please call 101 quoting incident number 417 of 26 August, 2015.
