TWO best friends are due to feature in a popular CBeebies show which meets children with extraordinary relationships.

Best pals Dylan from Stonehouse and Gemma from Whitesill will grace the nation’s screens on the ‘Something Special – We’re All Friends’ programme this Friday.

The 11-year-old pair both have a form of cerebral palsy and attend St Roses school, which provides education and therapy for children with physical disabilities and complex health needs.

Since they first met in the specialist school’s nursery class a decade ago they have been inseparable ever since.

During this time they have forged a true friendship and progressed up through to primary school side by side.

Now they learn together every day and are even star players in the same wheelchair football team.

To document this amazing friendship, presenter Justin Fletcher and the BBC crew visited the school for the day in November.

The popular CBeebies is specifically aimed at children with learning and communication difficulties.

This episode featured Dylan, Gemma and staff baking cakes together and then sharing them with other friends and family at St. Rose’s.

The programme, which is the series finale, will be shown at 9.45am and 1.45pm on Friday, February 12.

The whole school are going to gather together to watch their fellow pupils on the big screen.
