A LIFE size sheep ornament has been stolen from an antiques shop in Stroud.
Staff at Malt House Emporium, at the Salmon Springs Trading Estate, are appealing for its return after it was taken on Friday night.
CCTV footage shows a group of people who are suspected of stealing the ornament.
Malt House Emporium posted on its Facebook page: "This handsome fella was stolen in what can only be described as a drunken 'good idea' on Friday night.
"While the matter is of course with the police, and all CCTV footage of the antics (including riding him and chilling with him having a smoke) have been handed over, I would suggest that the anonymous return of Mr Sheep would help your case.
"The dealer, who owns this sheep, is very upset that he has been stolen and please bare in mind that dealers are not big corporations with lots of money and this will severely impact that dealer.
"Don't let a night of good fun turn into a criminal record."
Anyone with information can contact Malt House Emporium or police on 101.
The people who stole the sheep can contact Malt House Emporium by leaving an anonymous note on the 'contact us' section of their website.
