Stroud Nostalgia: Glimpse of the past just after Greyhound pub arrived
AN OLD photo looking towards Lansdown in Stroud just after the Greyhound pub was built in 1903.
The postcard is titled The New Corner, where a police officer was known to stand.
A dental surgery was also reportedly situated on the left hand-side of the road, run by a Mr Fleming.
