MORRIS dancers were up bright and early today to see the sun rise on May Day Morning at Rodborough Common.
Boss Morris and Miserden Morris celebrated the start of summer by greeting the sunrise in front of hundreds of onlookers.
A poem by local author Laurie Lee was read, flowers were handed around and dancers washed their faces in the morning dew.
