Aylmers Circus invites you into a kingdom, where international acrobats come alive.

Accompanied by a contortionist, hand balancer, and cyr wheel artist, just to name a few. Inspired by fairy tales, theatrical romance, and elegance, you’ll be taken through the story of a man who dreams of becoming a clown, when he stumbles upon a letter from a forgotten ballerina.

Harvey Aylmer is a theatrical producer and writer from Gloucestershire. As a child, he had the ambition to produce his own circus, and at the age of 10, he turned his garden into his own version of one, raising money for Cancer Research.

Himself and his friends rounded up their neighbours and practiced their cartwheels together.

With only his GSCES to hand, Harvey left school and ran away with the circus.

Giffords Circus became home where he undertook two apprenticeships studying business administration and events management, alongside assisting the award-winning director Cal McCrystal.

Harvey then went onto leave the circus in 2022 to join Bath Spa University where he currently is studying a BA in Theatre Production.

His ambition to produce allowed him to surround himself with passionate creatives, which fuelled him to create his own work.

In 2023, he established his own company where he wrote and produced his debut musical, ‘The Ringmaster’ which performed sold-out shows in Bath and Stroud.

Harvey now takes on the new challenge of ‘Aylmers Circus’ which he believes will inspire the future dreamers and create a world where musical theatre and circus collide.

He has spent his life turning his childhood dreams into reality, which play a key part in his imaginative stories.
