HUSBAND-and-wife team Sean and Gwen Kinsey covered themselves in gold glory.
Sean took part in the National Open Water Swimming Championships held at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield.
And he dominated the 50-54 age category in the 3km event, winning by a margin of over a minute.
Meanwhile, Gwen competed in her second event of the 2016 Castle Triathlon Series, held at Castle Howard near York. She won the 40-49 age group convincingly, and was seventh female in the elite race.
She said:“After a relatively easy swim route, the rest of the course was very hilly. I struggled a bit on the bike leaving too catch on the run in terms of the elite race, but am happy winning my age group.”
Next on the race calendar for Gwen is the Elite National Triathlon in Liverpool on August 14, while Sean aims for the European Masters Open Water Championships in Croatia in September.
